Lunch & Learn Series

Bring Your Lunch. Grow Your Knowledge.

Join the San Jacinto County Master Gardeners for our popular Lunch & Learn series, where gardening enthusiasts, homeowners, and community members gather to learn from horticultural experts and experienced gardeners.

These informal educational programs are designed to provide practical, research-based information on a variety of gardening topics relevant to East Texas. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, you’ll leave with new ideas, proven techniques, and inspiration for your own landscape and garden.

What to Expect

  • Educational presentations by Master Gardeners, AgriLife specialists, and guest speakers
  • Topics ranging from vegetable gardening and native plants to pollinators, trees, soil health, and water conservation
  • Opportunities to ask questions and connect with fellow gardeners
  • A relaxed, welcoming environment

As the name suggests, attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch and enjoy the presentation while learning. Drinks and light refreshments may be available depending on the program.
