Lunch & Learn: Herbs in the landscape

Bring your lunch and join us as we listen to two of our longtime Master Gardeners share their
knowledge of creating beautiful landscapes with the use of herb plants. Our presenters
completed an advanced herb course held by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in May.
Our speakers are Karla Fratt and Debi Goodale. Both ladies became Master Gardeners in 2010.
Long before joining the Master Gardener organization Karla’s introduction to the world of
plants came from growing up in the Texas Panhandle with a family that shared their
knowledge and joy of working the land. Debi Goodale comes from a similar childhood of
learning the love of nature and plants from her grandmother in East Texas. Her childhood
summers were spent alongside her Mammaw mixing soil and growing her love of plants.
