The La Retama Central Library Education Department contacted NMG Junior Master Gardeners to meet and discuss conducting a Terrarium Children’s Workshop during the Summer Vacation time frame. Vince Muscarello, Ed.D. and PJ Pratt, Co-chairs NMG JMG Program met with Devon Rodgers, Library Assistant and Education Coordinator at the Central Library on January 14, 2026, and discussed the what, when and how they would like to do the workshop. It was agreed that NMG JMG would conduct the workshop with the materials provided by the library. Devon proposed a tentative date of Friday, June 12th at 1 PM for the class collaboration and we have agreed with the date.
