Texas Wildscape Garden

Texas Wildscapes are a place for wildlife (birds, insects, animals) to obtain food, water, shelter and/or a place to raise their young.  They are created for erosion control, reduction of urban runoff, for natural pest control and are fun for humans.  An important part of the planning for a Wildscape is to use native Texas plants.

Our Texas Wildscape Garden is Texas Certified.

This means that it includes the requirements of food, water, shelter and/or nesting as well as incorporating mostly Texas native plants. Certification of Wildscapes was promoted by Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission to raise awareness and interest in the preservation of our natural resources.
