Culture

Roadster Tomato is a hybrid, determinate tomato variety known for its color and exceptional flavor. This is a widely adapted variety with an early maturity, making it a great option for those with shorter growing seasons. It has an excellent disease-resistance package including resistance to tomato spotted wilt virus and gray leaf spot.

Roadster Tomato has determinate plants that are vigorous with a medium height compared to other determinate varieties. Plants have a concentrated fruit set for large harvests of large to jumbo tomatoes. Fruits have a scarlet red exterior, a deep red interior, and a superb flavor!

Tomatoes can produce heavy fruits and will require some form of support to keep the plant upright. This ensures that plants and fruits stay off the ground, reducing the possibility of disease and keeping fruits

Noteworthy Characteristics

This early variety has high yield potential of extra-large 8-12 oz. fruit with exceptional flavor and interior color. Firm, smooth-shouldered fruit have a concentrated set on healthy, well-adapted plants with a strong resistance package. The shorter days to maturity make it a good choice for the early tomato in your garden or to grow later in the season before the first frost.
