Culture

Known as Treasure Flower, Gazania ‘Kiss’ Mix performs faithfully and beautifully! Gazania Treasure Flowers boast 3 inch blooms in a mix of intense, bold colors. The plants are compact, 10 inches high and they spread 10 inches as well. Flowers are held above the basal foliage, forming a bright carpet of color when planted in large masses.  Drought tolerant Gazania plants are considered annuals in the cool climates, but in warmer climates like the southern Texas and parts of California, they’re short-lived perennials. Gazania care includes deadheading the spent flowers to promote the growth of more blooms. Also, Gazania plants benefit from an application of a balanced liquid fertilizer every other week during the growing season or mix in a slow-release fertilizer at the time of transplanting or preparing the seedbed.

Noteworthy Characteristics

Discover the captivating allure of the Gazania Kiss Mix, an exceptional blend of Gazania that promise to be the showstopper of your garden. Perfect for those seeking vibrant color in sun-exposed areas, these upright plants boast a plethora of flowers on short stems, all standing proudly at a consistent height and width. The Kiss Mix promises a symphony of colors, ensuring that each flower bed is nothing short of a visual treat. Notably, the well-behaved growth pattern makes it an effortless addition to both novice and expert gardeners.  Water Gazania Treasure Flower plants slowly and deeply and let them dry out in-between waterings. Applying an organic mulch around the base of the Gazania plants helps to hold moisture in.
