Culture

Calibrachoa Colibri™ Exotic Red Bling, also known as Million Bells or Trailing Petunia, is a flowering plant native to South America. Perennial in zone 10-11, Calibrachoa is typically grown as an annual.  Calibrachoa Colibri™ Exotic Red Bling is a vibrant and eye-catching flowering plant that belongs to the Colibri™ series. The blooms of Exotic Red Bling are a striking red with golden bling stripes. The exciting star pattern on the petals makes it stand out in any garden. This cultivar has a compact mounded habit.  This plant attracts hummingbirds and requires only regular water to flourish in full sun. If you’re looking to add a burst of color and elegance to your patio or garden, consider planting the Colibri™ Exotic Red Bling. Its vivid hues and controlled growth make it a well-behaved member of any combo or hanging basket arrangement.

Noteworthy Characteristics

Notably, this variety requires little to no PGR (plant growth regulator) and has been tested for pH sensitivity. The Colibri series was developed for its tidy controlled habit and early blooming. It blooms even in a 10-hour day, making it a charming addition to your outdoor space. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a beginner, the Colibri™ Exotic Red Bling is sure to captivate with its vibrant hues!  Deer typically avoid calibrachoa due to their strong scent, texture, and bitter taste.

Problems

Check for Aphids and Thrips and treat if necessary.

Garden Uses

Calibrachoa Colibri™ Exotic Red Bling is suitable for hanging baskets. Vibrant colors brighten porches, patios, and window boxes.  Note: This is a patented plant and propagation restrictions apply.
