Culture

Calibrachoa Colibri™ Exotic Purple Bling, also known as Million Bells or Trailing Petunia, is a flowering plant. Perennial in zone 10-11, Calibrachoa is typically grown as an annual that’s particularly well-suited to hanging baskets and containers.  Calibrachoa Colibri™ Exotic Purple Bling is a delightful Calibrachoa hybrid variety that adds vibrant colors to your patio or porch. This cultivar has a compact mounded habit of 10-12″ tall and wide with prolific trumpet-shaped purple flowers with yellow stripes from spring through late fall. Bring whimsical color to a front porch or patio with Colibri in hanging baskets, mixed containers, or window boxes. This plant attracts hummingbirds and requires only regular water to flourish in full sun creating a stunning display of color.

Noteworthy Characteristics

Notably, this variety requires little to no PGR (plant growth regulator) and has been tested for pH sensitivity. It blooms even in a 10-hour day, making it a charming addition to your outdoor space. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a beginner, the Colibri™ Exotic Purple Bling is sure to captivate with its vibrant hues!  Deer typically avoid calibrachoa due to their strong scent, texture, and bitter taste.

Problems

Check for Aphids and Thrips and treat if necessary.
