DREAM is an acronym for Demonstrate, Research, Educate, Apply and Maintain.

The DREAM Garden is an ornamental demonstration garden developed and maintained by Master Gardeners for the benefit, enjoyment, and education of the citizens and visitors of East Texas. Located at the East Texas Arboretum, the DREAM Garden is a favorite photography location and a beautiful place to look for plants for your own garden or relax on one of the benches and appreciate the view.

The style of the garden is “Texas Cottage”.  It is filled with trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals. The garden is set up for self-guided tours. All the plants are labeled. Information about each plant can be found on this website. The garden is a wonderful place to go several times a year as the seasons change and different plants shine.

Groups can contact us and request that a Master Gardener meet them at the garden to lead a tour. We will do our best to try to accommodate all such requests with enough advanced notice.

If you would like information on any of the plants in the DREAM Garden, click here.

MONARCH WAYSTATION
