Speakers’ Network – “Do you need a Speaker for your next Event?”
The purpose of the Speakers Network is to provide training and education to the public on best horticulture practices. The speakers are trained to speak to civic groups, neighborhood associations, garden clubs and other events throughout Hays County.
The Hays County Master Gardener Speakers Network is a volunteer arm of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Although there is no charge for speakers, donations are accepted in the form of honorariums. These are used to support the community projects of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Hays County Master Gardeners. Click here to view a list of Speakers Network Available Topics and Summaries
Submit a HCMGA Speakers Network Request Form no less than 4 weeks prior to your event. We will provide a confirmation email with the speaker contact information and other details within one week after receiving the completed form.
- Most presentations are 45 – 60 minutes and we are also able to customize
- Presentations vary from formal classroom style presentations using a laptop, projector and screen, to hands on demonstrations or other formats. Our speakers are able to bring whatever they need.
