Per the recommendations of Texas Master Gardeners (TXMG), our parent organization, HCMGA will follow CDC recommendations to help contain the spread of COVID-19.
Thus, most of our near-term activities have been postponed for the time being.
Please check ahead for status of any event/activity prior to heading out the door to attend.
Stay calm – we will all get through this scary and difficult time.
We know it’s cold out there and it’s technically winter in Central Texas, but NOW is the time to prepare your garden for a successful spring harvest!
Presenter Suzanne Love will help you prepare your soil (the “heart” of your garden), discuss seed propagation, space planning and more!
Interested in learning how to grow nutritious food in your backyard, explore agricultural entrepreneur opportunities, or learn about farm-to-table operations? If so, join us March 20-21, 2020 for dinner and a conference at Taste 360! Texas A&M AgriLife researchers, extension agents and program specialists will share their knowledge about various areas of horticulture research, great resources available to the public, and opportunities to grow. Taste 360 is being planned and organized by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Horticulture team, and will be hosted at The Gardens at Texas A&M University.
