The Grimes County Master Gardener Speaker’s Bureau Program is a volunteer speaking and garden lecturer program offered by Texas AgriLife Extension Service and is designed to provide horticultural education for groups in the Grimes County community. We are now scheduling presentations for the 2025 calendar year. We offer timely and seasonal information on such topics as:
- Soil Preparation
- Composting Basics
- Fall/Spring Vegetable Gardening
- Container Gardening
- Flowering Bulbs
- Medicinal Herbs
- All About Roses
- Pruning Trees and Shrubs
- Attracting Butterflies

- Allow 3 weeks to schedule a speaker
- There is no charge for speakers. However, donations are accepted in the form of Honorariums, which support our GCMG community projects.
