Join Galveston County Master Gardeners John Mitchiner and Wendy Oalmann for Path to the Plate – Cool Season Veggies, an informative workshop designed to help gardeners take advantage of the Gulf Coast’s productive fall growing season. Discover why fall is often considered the ideal time for growing vegetables and learn how to set the stage for a successful harvest.

Participants will learn when and how to plant, proper care and maintenance practices, harvest timing, nutritional benefits, and integrated pest management techniques to help keep their fall gardens healthy, productive, and full of fresh flavors.
