Galveston County Master Gardener Christie McGrath will present Backyard Composting where you’ll learn how to turn yard waste and kitchen scraps into a valuable addition to your soil. We’ll review the science behind composting, what materials are compostable and overcoming challenges.  This presentation will cover a variety of composting methods and help you determine the right one for you. For beginner and experienced composters.
