Edible landscaping is the incorporation of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers into an otherwise conventional landscape. This way of gardening was common in the past and is becoming popular again. Many of the edible plants in this garden change according to the season of the year. The purpose of the garden is to demonstrate specifically how to incorporate edibles into an already established ornamental garden. The intent is not to produce large amounts of food but to combine edible and ornamental plants in an aesthetically pleasing way so that beauty and some food production can be intertwined. These ornamental plants form the base for this garden.
