About our Help Desk
Master Gardener volunteers provide answers to local resident’s gardening questions based on research-based evidence, training from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and experience gardening in North Texas. The service is free and we are happy to help.
When a question comes into the help desk, it is added to our log. A Master Gardener accepts a question from the log in the order it was received and begins compiling an answer and supporting reference materials. The Master Gardener may request additional information from the questioner to make certain the answer correctly addresses their concern.
Help Desk volunteers make every effort to respond to questions in a timely manner either by email or phone, usually with 48 hours.
