As part of its Waterwise educational series, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Travis County will host a free webinar with Kevin Kluge, Water Conservation Manager at Austin Water. He will present “Water Conservation for Austin Home Landscapes, Today and Tomorrow,” from 10 a.m. to noon on June 8th.
This free virtual program will be presented on Zoom. Interested parties must register whether for the live or recorded presentation.
Kevin will describe the various ways in which homeowners can save water this summer and tap into rebate programs. Austin Water has a wide range of programs to help residential customers save water, particularly in their outdoor landscapes. That’s a good thing because weather models forecast this summer to be extra hot and dry.
Due to technological constraints, this webinar has a limit of 100 attendees, but an unlimited number of people can register to view the recorded webinars. Upon registering, participants will be provided a link for the live session — or to view a recording of the program.
Participants may submit questions during the webinar and get answers live as time allows. Those submitting questions that are not addressed during the webinar will receive emailed answers. Viewers of the recorded sessions can send their questions to the Travis County Master Gardeners at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All programs are presented by experts from AgriLife Extension, Travis County Master Gardeners and Austin Water.
