Somervell County – Texas Superstars & Gardening from the Grocery Store

Master Gardener David Locke will speak on “Texas Superstar Plants that Grow Well in Our Area.” He will focus on landscape and garden plants suited for Somervell and surrounding counties with an emphasis on plants with low to moderate water needs. Mr. Locke will highlight plants grown locally by our SCMGA members. The second presentation for the morning will be by Master Gardener Lela Evans. She will present the topic “Gardening from the Grocery Store.” It doesn’t take a huge garden to turn kitchen scraps into new plants. Save money by buying and growing plants from your grocery store!

It will take place at the Somervell County Citizens Center located at 209 SW Barnard St., Glen Rose, TX 76043 and is open to the public.
