March 1 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Bexar County Master Gardeners host a semi-annual educational seminar, CULTIVATE!, and this year our event is scheduled for Friday, February 28, and Saturday, March 1. We will once again offer this program online so that you can learn from the comfort of your own home. This spring, we offer 6 workshops on a variety of horticultural topics for you to choose from.
Friday’s (9:00 am-1:00 pm) workshops are: Resilient Lawn for Today’s Challenges with David Rodriguez, Texas A&M AgriLife; Home Landscaping with Greg Grant, Texas A&M AgriLife; Listen to Your Landscape with Lee Marlowe, SA River Authority.
Saturday’s (9:00 am-1:00 pm) workshops are: Plant Selection for Resilient Landscapes with Brad Wier, San Antonio Water System; Starting Plants from Seed with Bill Swantner, BCMG; Common Pests of Turf and Lawns and their Management with Molly Keck, Texas A&M AgriLife.
The description for each class can be found on our website. Pre-registration is required for these workshops. Just click the blue button in the above link titled ‘Register for CULTIVATE!’
This is our 15th CULTIVATE! since we began this program in September of 2017, and each time we offer new topics as well as some of our popular favorites. These presentations are given by recognized experts in their field, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Staff, or Bexar County Master Gardeners. Each session is an hour in length, 45-50 minutes of presentation and 10-15 minutes of Q&A time.
*** The event is free, but you must register!***
