Gonzales County – Tomato/Vegetable Plant Sale

February 25 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

  • « Fort Bend County – Landscape Success Series: Landscape Basics
  • Bexar County – Cultivate »

The Gonzales Master Gardeners will be holding their annual Tomato/Vegetable Sale on Saturday, February 25, 2023. The sale will take place at PACE: Plantatarium A Center for Exploration. This is the GMG building located at 623 N. Fair Street (between the Gonzales Elementary School and Bus Barn). The sale will be held inside from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Their Vegetable Grow Team will have a large variety of tomatoes, all grown from seed, specifically selected to do well in this area. Red, yellow, orange, purple, large and small, they’ll have them all. In addition, there will be numerous starter vegetable varieties including peppers, squash and eggplant adapted for this area. Growing plants is an enormous opportunity for Master Gardeners and student grow teams to put into practice their gardening and propagation knowledge.

Cash/checks/credit/debit cards will be accepted this year and there will be a limited number of people at any given time allowed in the building. For more information, call 830-672-8531.

The proceeds from the fundraiser help support the mission of Gonzales Master Gardeners to provide horticultural and gardening information and instruction to the community and grade school children. Gonzales Master Gardeners is a non-profit 50(c)3 corporation working under the direction of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
