Gonzales County – Growing Lavender

Can Lavender grow in Texas? Yes it can! Find out how at Lavender Love: Growing Lavender in Texas, a Lunch and Learn program hosted by the Gonzales Master Gardeners on Friday, April 24, from noon to 1:00 p.m.

Master Gardener Jessica Barnett will present information on the different types of lavender, how to care for and maintain them, propagation, and which varieties grow best in Texas conditions.

The program will be held at PACE, the Master Gardeners’ building, located at 623 N. Fair Street in Gonzales. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided, so attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch and enjoy this informative program.
