Erath County – The Value of Native Plants in the Landscape

Gordon Lee will explain the advantages of incorporating Texas natives into your landscape. A certified master gardener, master naturalist, and Native Plant Society of Texas member, Gordon will share his in-depth knowledge of Texas natives along with principles of landscape design using native plants.

Gordon plans to spend some class time on the Monarch Waystation program run by Monarch Watch and the Homegrown National Park movement, which encourages people to plant natives and remove invasive plant species at home and in their communities.
