ADVANCED TRAINING: Vegetables

The Advanced Master Gardener – Vegetables program provides intensive, multi-day training to equip Master Gardener Extension Volunteers with the knowledge and skills to strengthen Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service outreach.

Participants who complete both the training and required volunteer service will be recognized as Advanced Master Gardeners – Vegetables. This certification designates advanced expertise but does not grant supervisory or administrative authority within county programs.

This program builds a statewide corps of volunteer experts prepared to share research-based knowledge and support Extension’s mission through education in vegetable gardening.

Note: Two volunteers per county; must be approved by County Extension Agent.
