ADVANCED TRAINING: Trees and Tree Care

The Advanced Master Gardener Training – Tree and Tree Care program is designed to train and certify Master Gardeners to become part of a state corps of Trees and Tree Care experts and educators. To become a certified Advanced Master Gardener in Trees and Tree Care, Master Gardeners are required to attend the Advanced Master Gardener in Trees and Tree Care training to fulfill training requirements and meet service requirements described in the link below. Maximum 2 participants per county, and attendance must be approved by CEA

Training and Service Requirements:

• Attend the Trees and Tree Care
• Serve as a local Advanced Master Gardener Trees and Tree Care resource by completing at least 20 additional service hours specific to this training. Of those hours, 10 must be direct education.
• Assist with Trees and Tree Care training for Master Gardeners and trainees
• Conduct community/youth Trees and Tree Care education programs
• Increase clientele knowledge about Trees and Tree Care through presentations, workshops and mass media efforts
