ADVANCED TRAINING: Junior Master Gardener®

The upcoming virtual 2026 JMG National Leader Training will serve as Advanced Training for Texas Master Gardeners.  You do not have to attend the live event for it to count. However, to receive your Advanced Training certificate, you must view ALL of the general & concurrent sessions’ presentations offered through the training.  That means that since it is not possible that all concurrent presentations can be attended live, Master Gardeners will be required to view recordings of any of those unattended presentations after the conference. Those recordings of all general and concurrent sessions will be posted at the conference portal and will be available to all registered attendees for 4 months following the conference.

We are also waiving the 2 volunteers per county limit for this training only. Anyone wanting to certify as an Advanced Trained Junior Master Gardener volunteer is welcome. You must still have your agent’s approval before certifying, complete the state minimum of 20 hours of service, and report your hours to your agent.
