ADVANCED TRAINING: Herbs THIS CLASS IS FULL

The Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Advanced Training in Herbs was created as an intensive multi-day training that would empower certified Master Gardeners throughout the state with knowledge and skills required to effectively support and multiply Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service efforts in herb educational programs in their counties.
Topics include history and use of herbs, propagation, hands-on recipes for butters, teas and vinegar, new and usual herbs, a field trip to Chapel Hill Lavender Farm, with lunch at Martha’s Bloomers.
Limited to two certified Master Gardeners per county, with agent approval until class is filled.

REMINDER: To complete your certification, you will be required to contribute an additional 20 volunteer hours focused on educating others about herbs.
