ADVANCED TRAINING: Entomology

The Entomology Advanced Training is a specialized Texas Master Gardener Advanced Training that provides volunteers with an in-depth understanding of insects and other arthropods, emphasizing research-based identification, integrated pest management (IPM), beneficial insects, and public education.
Its purpose is to develop Master Gardeners who can serve as county resources for insect-related questions while promoting environmentally responsible pest management practices.
You MUST be a CERTIFIED master gardener and have approval of your county agent to attend.
Class is VIRTUAL. Tuesdays & Thursdays, Sep 1 – Oct 29, 2026 | 10 a.m. – Noon (No sessions Oct 20 & 22)
All classes will be recorded and posted for class participant viewing. Recording links are not permitted to be shared with others not in the class.
