This workshop will be in Spanish.
Prepare for rain before El Paso moves into its wet “monsoonal” months and temperatures soar. Come learn how to integrate passive rainwater harvesting into your landscape designs. Passive designs such as berms and swales collect nature’s bounty to keep thirsty native plants happy and healthy during the hot summer months. Decide if Active (with barrels or cisterns) or Passive with landscape designs and channeling is best for your home.
Please note: We move to our earlier summer hours with start times at 11 a.m. for the months of June, July, and August.
El Paso Water and El Paso Master Gardeners have created a series of Water Conservation workshops we’ve nicknamed our GROWS talks. GROWS is an acronym for Gardening Resources Outreach Workshops and Seminars. We provide a variety of research-based talks and resources for creating healthy, water-conserving gardens.
