How to Make a Rainy Day Last-Rainwater Harvesting (Recolección de Agua de lluvia)

Prepárese para la lluvia antes de que El Paso entre en sus meses húmedos de monzón y las temperaturas se disparen. Venga a aprender a integrar la captación pasiva de agua de lluvia en sus diseños de paisajismo. Los diseños pasivos, como bermas y cunetas, aprovechan la abundancia de la naturaleza para mantener las plantas nativas sedientas y saludables durante los calurosos meses de verano. Elija entre el sistema activo (con barriles o cisternas) o el pasivo con diseños de paisajismo y canalización, que es lo mejor para su hogar. 

Prepare for rain before El Paso moves into its wet “monsoonal” months and temperatures soar. Come learn how to integrate passive rainwater harvesting into your landscape designs. Passive designs such as berms and swales collect nature’s bounty to keep thirsty native plants happy and healthy during the hot summer months. Decide if Active (with barrels or cisterns) or Passive with landscape designs and channeling is best for your home.
