Master Gardener Information Table
Plant Questions? El Paso County Master Gardeners have the answers. You’ll find them at an Information Table at El Paso’s Home and Garden Show. Bring your questions to our Information Table, open all three days, where we’ll be happy to help you and share our informative brochures.
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service training provides El Paso County Master Gardeners with research-based horticultural information and resources as a foundation for their wide range of experiences in gardening in the El Paso. Certified Master Gardeners and Master Gardener Interns share that knowledge with members of the community who visit our Information Tables at many public events throughout the year. The Information Tables are stocked with a wealth of free publications on growing vegetables, gardening, and landscaping.
Kids Korner for Children
Bring your children to Kids Korner where they will be our guests for gardening activities designed just for them. They will be shown by Master Gardeners how to transplant live plants, plant seeds, or take part in some other fun, educational activity.
Master Gardeners on Home Show Garden Stage
Master Gardeners love gardening and love to share information about gardening. El Paso Master Gardeners will be at the El Paso Home and Garden show to talk about gardening topics developed using research-based information and resources from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

Doc Stalker, a veteran Texas Master Gardener in El Paso identifies the specific symptoms to be on the alert for and the best way to manage Rose Rosette Disease should it appear on your or your neighbors’ roses. |

By: Sylvia Pena of the El Paso County Master Gardeners Join Sylvia Pena, Master Gardener, who will discuss container gardening as a great introduction to gardening which is also kid-friendly. Containers are portable and easy to treat for pests and disease. They can also be tailored by height for personal comfort. |
| 4:30PM | Last-Minute Tree Pruning
By: Rex Morris of the El Paso County Master Gardeners Rex Morris, an experienced El Paso Master Gardener, will cover how to determine which branches of your tree need pruning and how to correctly prune the branches. He will also discuss the pruning of fruit trees and how to best handle a splitting tree trunk. |
