To schedule a speaker:

Please fill out and submit the online Speaker Request Form.  You will receive a confirmation email after you submit the form.  We will contact our speakers and get back to you.  (DCMGA requests a two-week notification to allow time to find appropriate volunteer speakers.)   If you have any questions, contact our speaker coordinator at dcmga.speakers@gmail.com, or call the Extension office at 940-349-2883.

Some presentations are shown with a laptop, projector, and screen, some are demonstrations, and some use other formats. Our speakers can bring whatever they need. Most talks are about 45-60 minutes.  Please specify additional requirements you may have.

Although there is no charge for speakers, donations are accepted in the form of honorariums and are used to support the community projects of the Denton County Master Gardener Association.

Ask a Master Gardener Booths

The “Ask A Master Gardener” booth provides an opportunity for the public and certified Master Gardeners to interact on a one-on-one basis at a community event.  We provide informal education, share information and experiences, field questions and address local gardening concerns.

To request an Ask A Master Gardener booth for your event or fair, submit the online Speaker Request Form, indicating in the “Requested Topic” field that you would like an Ask a Master Gardener booth.  For more information, see the Ask a Master Gardener page. If you have questions, contact the AgriLife Extension office at 940-349-2883.
