Annual DCMGA Membership Renewal

Thank you for renewing your membership in the Denton County Master Gardener Association.

Please note the following:

  • Annual dues paid by January 31, 2023, are $15
  • Annual dues paid after January 31, 2023, are $25
  • All service hours and continuing education hours for 2022 must be entered in VMS no later than January 31, 2022
  • Any member not in good standing as of March 31, 2023, will be inactivated unless granted an exception by the CEA-Hort

Steps to renew your DCMGA membership:

1. Be sure that you have the required number of training and service hours.

Members of this year’s Intern class need 70 training hours and 70 service hours in 2022.  After the Intern year, members need 12 continuing education hours and 12 volunteer service hours each year. For CE opportunities, see the Continuing Education Opportunities page. Service and training opportunities are also mentioned each week in the Plan Your Week email.

Contact Janet Laminack to discuss if it’s near the end of the year and you don’t have the required hours or if there are circumstances preventing you from completing your hours.

2. Be sure that your hours have been logged in VMS.

If you have questions or password problems with VMS, contact dcmga.vms@gmail.com. You may also make an appointment with Janet Laminack for assistance with entering your hours.

While you’re in VMS, review your profile to be sure your contact information is up-to-date.

3. Submit the renewal form.

Click here to fill out and submit the online renewal form.

As part of your renewal, you will need to confirm that you agree to the Volunteer Service Agreement. If you’d like to review it before you fill out the form, you can do that now using the above link.

4. Pay your dues.

You may also pay your dues online, using PayPal or a credit card, as a part of submitting the online renewal form.

If you elected to mail or bring a check to the office when you submitted the online form, please do that promptly. (If you plan to bring a check to the office, call first to see if you need to make an appointment.)  Make the check for $15 (or $25 if paid after 1-31-23) payable to DCMGA, and please write ‘Membership Renewal’ on the check.  The address is:
