This honor is being bestowed upon Cozy Taylor because of her past leadership and service to the Leon County Master Gardener program. As an Emeritus Master Gardener, there are certain privileges awarded to Ms. Pittman. She will always hold the Emeritus Master Gardener status in honor of her invaluable contribution to the association.
The Leon County Master Gardener program would not be where it is today without Cozy’s past leadership. She was instrumental in guiding and maintaining the local program through vacancies within the Leon County AgriLife Extension Office. She was also instrumental in overseeing numerous volunteer projects which helped to increase the visibility of the Leon County Master Gardener program, especially during the early years of the Association. These are just a few of the many tasks that the Executive Board considered when they bestowed the Emeritus status on Ms. Taylor.
This is our way of thanking Ms. Taylor for her dedicated service to the Leon County Master Gardener program. Since taking the class in 2009, Cozy had been a valuable member to the Leon County Master Gardener program. On behalf of the Leon County and Texas Master Gardener Executive Board and membership, we want to offer congratulations on receiving this honor!
