Texas Gardener Magazine

Texas Gardener Magazine was founded in 1981 by Chris S. Corby, journalist and avid gardener, to provide information and advice on the unique aspects of Texas gardening.  Jay White, a long-time writer for the publication, took over ownership in July 2018. He and his wife Sally are both avid gardeners. At Sally’s urging, Jay got a Masters of Agriculture degree at age 48 and started writing at that time.

The Magazine generously allows Master Gardener organizations to submit subscriptions and keep a portion of the money as a fundraiser.  CTMGA is no longer participating in this program, so please click on the Texas Gardener Magazine link above to subscribe.
