Registration is open for the Rainwater Harvesting Workshop!
The Brazos County Master Gardeners, in partnership with the Brazos Valley Groundwater Conservation District and City of College Station Water Conservation program, celebrate home water conservation with seminars exploring rainwater harvesting for garden use, including a demonstration to build and take home your own rain barrel. Talks include:
- How to Hook up your Rain Barrel
- Alternative Rainwater Harvesting Techniques
Exhibitors include Jennifer Nations, College Station Water Resource Coordinator, ‘How To Make A Rain Chain’ station, Brazos Valley Groundwater Conservation District and Brazos County Master Gardeners answering gardening questions.
$40 registration includes a rain barrel and seminar attendance. Limit one rain barrel per household. After checkout, you can choose to take home an assembled rain barrel, or a barrel with a complete set of parts to assemble at home. Registration is required to attend.
No childcare or children’s activities will be available. Thank you for your understanding.
