2018 Citrus & Fruit Tasting Seminar
The Brazoria County Master Gardeners Association celebrates home orchard production with a FREE Citrus and Fruit Tasting Seminar on Saturday, December 8. Citrus expert and Texas Master Gardener Gil Livanec presents an advanced viewing of citrus and fruit, as well as blackberry and blueberry varieties offered for sale in early 2019. We offer a diversity of orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime and additional citrus fruit and juices to sample. Home-made samples of orange marmalade, grapefruit glazes, fig preserve, and other treats will be available for tasting. Experts will be on hand to talk about the culture and benefits of the different varieties available at the event. Come early for this popular annual county event. Open Garden Day: October 13, 2018
Join Brazoria County Master Gardeners for a FREE Open Garden Day on October 13 at the BEES Garden Center, 583 County Road 443 (Hospital Dr) in Angleton. We will proudly tour the gardens and answer any of your gardening questions. Join County Horticulturist Stephen Brueggerhoff for a tour of the fruit orchard at 10:30 am.
