Roses at Open Garden Days invites you to explore rose culture in Brazoria County and enhance your garden.

Schedule: Lecture ‘Old Garden Roses’ by Houston Rose Society’s Renee Cummins; starts at 10:30 am. Light refreshments will be served before the lecture

Concurrent garden demo’s start at 9:30 and repeat 11:30 am, and include:

  • Pass-along Props: Rose Propagation – from rooting to planting, explore propagation techniques that will grow your rose legacy for generations
  • More than Pipe Dreams: Rose Bed Irrigation – learn the right tools that will deliver water where you need it to go. Drip lines and emitters will be discussed.
  • Dig It! Rose Planting – learn how to properly plant and prune to extend the life of your roses
