Speakers Bureau

Request a Speaker

To request a speaker for your group or event, please contact the Bell County Master Gardener Office at 254-933-5304 or email bcmgaspeakers@gmail.com

  • Allow 3 weeks to schedule a speaker
  • For groups of 10 or more
  • Speaker Bureau volunteers are not available during December
  • *There is no charge for speakers

Bell County Master Gardeners provide speakers on a wide variety of gardening topics. We can provide a certified master gardener expert for you. The Bell County Master Gardeners Association assists the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in providing high quality, relevant, research-based horticultural education and service to the residents of Bell County and the state of Texas through outreach, teaching, and demonstration projects. We offer talks of varying lengths on many topics. See a list of programs below.

*However, donations are accepted in the form of Honorariums, which support our BCMG community projects. Honorarium checks should be made out to BCMGA and mailed to: Bell County Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Office, 1605 N. Main St., Belton, 76513. When a speaker travels outside Bell County, we request that they be provided a travel allowance of $25, paid directly to the speaker – do not include the travel allowance with the Honorarium.

BCMGA Help Desk

For help with horticulture questions or concerns please email a photograph, contact information and questions to our email address at bell.mg@agnet.tamu.edu. Requests for assistance will be addressed by email or by phone (254) 933-5304. The Bell County Master Gardener Office is staffed for the public Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., except for holidays.
