2026 Conference FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

Q. If I purchase general registration, but cannot attend the presentations live, will I gain access to the recordings from both days?

A. Yes! All registered participants will be given access to view the recordings for every session, keynote, and film for 4 months after the conference, except for Peggy Singlemann’s Echoes in the Garden, A Restoration Journey session. This session will not be recorded at the request of the speaker. If you purchase the leadership workshop, you will be given access to the leadership workshop recording.

We plan to record every presentation (except Peggy Singlenmann’s session, see details above) and will try our best to do so, but we cannot guarantee that every presentation will be recorded due to technical issues occurring that are out of our control.

Q. Can I get CEs for attending conference?

A. We do allow you to earn CEs, but this is ultimately up to your county agent as they have to sign on it for approval.

Q. How do I access my ticket, live event, and recordings? (Includes the leadership workshop and state conference)

A. Your conference access is in your registration confirmation email. This includes the portal website and your individual passwords to access the content. Recordings will be accessible 15 days after the conference on the portal website.

Q. When will the conference portal open?

A. After registering, the portal will open in June. Exact date to be determined!

Q. Our county plans to watch the conference together. Are bulk purchases available?

A. Each person attending will be required to register individually. We recommend all participants print off their confirmation to provide to Extension personnel.

Q. Can I buy one ticket if I live in the same home as another?

A. No, each person needs to purchase their own ticket. Whether you are married or living under the same roof, each individual will need to purchase their own ticket.

Q. How do I find out who is speaking and what they are presenting about?

A. All speaker and session information is available by clicking the links on the Agenda. You can also use the Speakers and Sessions buttons to view all information and download these materials as a PDF.

Q. Are tours being offered this year?

A. Our tours are always well received; however, this year we are changing things up by showing a 1-hour film during the conference. Over 98% of the living world on Earth is smaller than a bee. Yet humans view the planet as a world centered around themselves. Landscapes are deconstructed to suit human needs, often with little regard for the natural systems that sustain the food web. The Extraordinary Caterpillar follows the scientists and community activists with this peek into the dazzling world of nature’s tiniest superheroes.
