Our collection system was installed in March 2007 and supplies irrigation to the demonstration gardens when supplemental irrigation is needed.

With sponsorship from Plastic Wholesalers, the Taylor County Horticulture Committee and volunteers with the Big Country Master Gardeners, the system was successfully installed. Within the first week, our cup runneth over and the tank was full. We captured 1,100 gallons of pure rainwater to use in our demonstration gardens at the Taylor County Extension Office.
