At the 2013 Texas State MG Conference the SCMG Association won two First Place awards, one for the Association and another for Individual MG of the Year, Jean Smith. Second place awards as follows: Education – Tyler Day Nursery; Publication – Garden Tour Guide Book; Mass Media – What’s Blooming in our Garden (weekly articles by Dee Bishop in the Tyler Paper); Graphic – Bulb Sale Preview (PowerPoint by Merlin Eck). Third place award for Project – Heritage Garden.

Over the years the Fall Garden Conference and Bulb Sale has evolved to what we call Bulbs & More.
