Come to see us this Saturday at the Farmers’ Market at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing as we open our Information Booth’s summer season. We look forward to talking with you about your gardening concerns and answering your gardening questions.

You’ll also want to come back weekly during the summer months since the Master Gardeners at the Information Booth will explore different gardening topics in keeping with a monthly theme. For example, our monthly theme for June will be “Enjoying Ornamentals” and our specialty consultants will give hands-on demonstrations. They’ll also have colorful displays with hand-outs for visitors.

Our speakers will give Garden Talks on the last Saturday of each month through September. The 2017 Gardening Series schedule below shows the monthly gardening theme and the name of the end-of-month talk. Following the monthly talks there will be a Door Prize so be sure to collect a ticket!

Plant Questions? Feel confident asking us about your vegetable and ornamental plants as well as insects and horticultural practices. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service training provides El Paso Master Gardeners with research-based horticulture information and resources to augment their wide range of experiences in gardening in the El Paso. Our Information Booths are also stocked with a wealth of free publications on topics ranging from composting to growing roses and tomatoes and landscape planning and design. As produce becomes available in our demonstration garden, Master Gardeners will sell tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, and other vegetables.
