Texas Master Gardener Association in cooperation with The Texas AgriLife Extension Service and The Texas A&M University System recognizes and presents awards for exemplary achievement in the ten following award categories.

The Texas Master Gardener Association encourages full participation in the Awards Program. All Certified Texas Master Gardener Associations that are members of the TMGA are eligible to participate.

Website Education Award Submission Information

Note: Download and Save form to your computer before entering any data. As specified in the handbook, all submission should be submitted in PDF format with the county name and award in the title. For example: “galveston_project.pdf” or “montgomery_newsletter.pdf” (no quotes).

Membership Categories

There are 4 categories in which Participating Counties are placed depending on the number of  2011 dues-paid members, as reported by the Treasurer.

    • Small – 1-50 dues paying Texas Master Gardeners
    • Medium – 51-100 dues-paying Texas Master Gardeners
    • Medium Large – 101-199 dues-paying Texas Master Gardeners
    • Large – 200 or more dues-paying Texas Master Gardeners

“Associates” or “Interns” included as part of an Association’s  2011 dues-paying members will be included when determining group size.
